Middle of the week

It is a cool, crisp 50* here. I have my nice warm robe and my socks on. There is a slight breeze and it looks like even the leaves are quivery. It will soon warm up to the 70's tho.

I have a long day ahead. I have my preop appts at the dr and then at the hospital today. They are at opposite sides of town, one at 1:45 the other at 4. I'm going to take somethign along with me to do while I wait.

Before I go I'm going to put chicken/rice soup in the crockpot, do some housework, pay some bills.

I want to go to the shoe store before my first appt to find a pair of slip on shoes. Don't think I'll be able to bend over anytime soon after the surgery so, need something I don't have to tie or buckle.

Yesterday was my daughters 21st birthday!!! Wow! I sent her a hug and a big juicy smooch via email.

Thanks for all your encouraging words adn prayers. I know that God will be right there with me, helping me thru this and the days afterwards.
