I have to admit~~

I'm ready for spring.  I love the snow.  I think there is nothing more beautiful or peaceful than snow falling. I seem to have more headaches in the winter-I can sure tell when we are going to get a snow or when there is a change in the weather pattern.  It's weird how the weather affects our body's.  I'm also achey-er (is that how its spelt?).

We have about 6 or so inches on the ground now.  Suppose to warm up to the 40's by the weekend.

I was suppose to start my classes yesterday but the college was closed-today also.  I'm hoping it will be open tomorrow.  I'm ready to get this started.  I have had a couple assignment.  There is a 'blackboard' thing on the college website that students/teachers can interact, teachers send assignments, etc.  It was overwhelming for me when I first went on there but I've been playing around with it and I think I'll get the hang of it all.  It's all a scary process for me but I'm really looking forward to what's in store.

Dh and I have to make a decision about health insurance.  If we stay with what they are offering thru his work, then it is going to go up, in premium and deductible.  And it won't pay ANYTHING until the deductible is met.  Nothing.  Not even on prescripts.  It's so frustrating.  Dh has looked into some other plans.  Premiums higher, deductible lower, not everything out of pocket.  We need to sit down and go over it.  Our current insurance ends the end of this month.

I want to thank each of you who read and comment.  Hope you continue to visit me.

~~til later

It's really cold in NW Florida and I'm sure you guys are tired of all the snow. I'm in the same boat with you on insurance. We have to meet a $5000. deduct. before it pays for anything at all. It stinks! It's getting to where insurance is going to be a luxury for most of us. Stay warm! I found you on Tipper's blog.

I've had enough of the winter weather too ~ but I know there's still a lot more snow in my forecast up here in northern Wisconsin. So now I'm just hanging in there waiting for vacation in a few weeks when we can head south to Texas; but then I come on all these blogs of people to the south of us ~ and they're getting snow too! Best of luck on your schooling ~ I think it's great that you're taking on the challenge of a new career!

Hi Patty. I love the photographs on your blog. I was looking through some very old posts on my old blog (My Own Velvet Room) and came across your name as someone who had left a comment at one time so I thought I would pay you a visit! You have a beautiful blog!
