Thankful Thursday

This morning I'm thankful for the cooler mornings, the gentle breeze, the rain we've had and what we'll be getting. Thankful for God's blessings and His Truths-that He will never leave me nor forsake me, that He will walk beside me, hold my hand and that He as a plan for me, for good and not for evil, to give me a future and a hope. I'm holding onto those Truths today.

I don't have to work today, so, after I get the house picked up and some laundry done, bills made out, I'll head out to town to do my errands. I need to take a form to the dr office for them to fill out for work (only 3.5 weeks til my surgery!!) and it is close to the shoe store (where I have a credit), a nice thrift store and the farmers market. So, I'll be stopping at those while I'm out that way. Then it's to the other side of town to the chiro (oh! I definitely need an adjustment) and Walmart.

My daughter and sil are somewhere on a cruise boat between Hanna and Ike. They are suppose to be back in Florida either tomorrow or Saturday and then fly home.

Would appreciate your prayers for their safety.

So, I'm off.

couple hours later--

my son went out on delivery today to eastern TN. Here is a picture he sent me from his cell phone of a foggy valley.

Is this not beautiful or what??

when I asked him where he was he replied,

"5600 ft elevation way way way way way way way way up on a mountain almost 20 miles on a gravel road."

He later texted me and said a bobcat had just ran across the road in front of them.

I know he is enjoying his day.

What a beautiful picture!!!!! Would love to be on the gravel road right now, too!

Thanks for your post today on my blog. It was such an encouragement to me. I love to dance in the rain (as long as there's no lightening!)!!!! Thanks again for your prayers!
