First snow of the season

It is a sticky snow, would be good for making snowballs. Thankfully it isnt' causing too much problem with the roads, except maybe in the northern mountains. I love it!! For some reason I think we'll be in for a snowy winter.

Had my 4 week checkup yesterday. The dr is very happy with how I'm healing. She said I was doing great. I'm now allowed to do a bit more, within reason of course. She told me to think before I move. You don't realize how much you use your tummy muscles until they have been cut on. Still have the spot on the incision that is bothering me. She still says it's a nerve caught in there and that it will eventually go away.

After I came home, I got a bit too ambitious and did a bit too much. Between that and the examination, my tummy was so sore and swellen. But thankfully I slept better than I have been and I feel pretty good this morning.

This is my son's lonely guitar.
Makes me sad to see it just sitting there. He is more into playing Guitar Hero now than playing the real thing. He has such talent. But he's a teenager and he's on to "other" things. I know he'll come back to this, just pray it's sooner than later.

So, I'm off to start my day.
~~til later

THnaks for stopping by. I had a hysto when I was 29 - many moons ago. Full incision - 2 little kids a home. It was hard so I send you my very best wishes for a speedy recovery and full healing.

hugs, Linda

Love the snow-we only got a few flurries. I hope we have a least one big snow this year.

I'm sure your son will be back to the guitar-music gets into your soul and you always return to it-even if years go by-I know I did!

Glad your visit with the Doc went well. I had a c-section with my girls and-you're right you use your stomach muscles for just about everything!

Your little snow constitutes the whole enchilada for us here in northeast Texas. We get one, maybe two snowfalls per winter, usually about the size of the one you just got. Sigh....I do love snow.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! You have a very nice place here. :-)

Love the snowy picture, so peaceful. I found you through Linda (My Own Velvet Room) and enjoyed browsing. I know what you mean about thinking the winter will be snowy. We think the same thing here (CT). Maybe b/c the fall's been chillier than last year. Have a Happy Halloween!

Wowser, snow in NC, I thought we up here in the Northcountry, (as we are often called) were the only ones on the East Coast to get snow this early. We received 17 inches Tuesday night, now today is suppose to get up to 55 degrees F.

Take it easy
