It is Monday, Groundhog Day. I heard that Mr. Phil saw his shadow this morning. Personally I dont believe in the little fella. I mean, how can he not see his shadow with all those camera flashes going on? And how do we know what he sees? I know , I know. It's all just a bunch of fun.

I'm going to start looking for the robins myself. I've had enough of winter. Winter is no fun with out at least one good snow. Is that too much to ask for?

Speaking of snow. It is raining now, I can tell the temps have cooled down-in the lower 40's now. I'm sure by the time I get off work tonight it will be nasty, cold, maybe freezing on the roads. I pray it isnt'. I do not liek driving in ice. Snow, yes. Ice, no.

Ok enough complaining. Oh I didnt finish what I was going to say. "They" are callign for some snow sometime inthe next couple days. I won't hold my breath.

I'll leave you with an awesome picture my son took on Saturday at dusk.
He took this off the lookout in Ridgecrest.
Just awesome. Just click on it for a better look.

What a gorgeous picture Patty. I miss the mountains.

I hate driving on ice too. Be Safe!
I don't believe in the little guy either. We always get at least 6 more weeks of winter no matter what happens on Feb. 2. I did see a robin the other day though. It was perched on the 5 foot high snowbank in front of my house...I think he was lost.
