I'm still here

Thanks for your kind comments on the pictures. I think he did pretty good, too.

Alot has been going on here. Between work, dr appts, taking care of my home, I havent' taken time to post. My thoughts have been so scattered, I'm just trying to deal with what is at hand.

Dh has been having test after test but, thankfully/unfortunately nothing has shown up. We thought for sure it was his gallbladder but after spending 8+ hrs in the ER Friday night, the drs doing a Hida scan on him, it showed that his gallbladder is functioning well within range. This past Monday he had the endo and colonoscopy done, biopsy's etc. Nothing showed up, healthy digestive tract. I just don't understand the pressure he has after eating and he is belching so much.
The dr at the ER gave him some meds that is used for IBS-it keeps the intestines, etc from spasming. He took it Saturday and it did a number on him. He was at work and his co workers called ems. They checked him out but his blood pressure and heart rate was good.
Think he is finally realizing that he has some anxiety problems that could be causing the problems to be more than they are, so he has decided to talk to the dr about what can be done about that. He's to get back in touch with the gastro dr tomorrow also.

I've downsized our dsl. Dh has downsized the tv. We are trying to free up some money. We are going to be alright, just need to make it over this bump in the road.
I've also started some decluttering. Took about 20 magazines to the library recycle box and 2 shopping bags to the thrift store. Have some yarn to donate to a local group who knits/crochets for charity.
I want to get some sewing done for charity myself but my sewing room is filled with boxes, etc of good intentions and so nothing is getting done.
I keep bringing stuff home, thinking "I could do this or that with it" and there is nothing wrong with that but "it" is not getting done. So, I'm just going to get it all gone, keep a few things to do and get them done before I bring home anythign else. I have gotten so lazy and spending way too much time on here.

so, between all these things going on here, I won't be on as much as I have been. I've been thinking of cutting the blog completely but I enjoy blogging and I've met such nice people.

Well, I gotta get off and get ready for church!
~~til later

Hold fast to the Lord. Holding on to him may never change our circumstances, it may even make them worse as the Apostles found out, but it changes our hearts and minds. I pray that your husband can find what is causing his digestive problem, one problem in our bodies can create such havoc can't it? Boy howdy. Anxiety and stress sure can be a factor in many "unknown" ailments.

Is there someone who would join you in your sewing for charity? Sometimes I feel like I need to do things with people to get them done.

The contact is wonderful and it is hard to shut blogs down I know. Take breaks when you need to and do it less, that way you can touch base with others for prayer needs etc.
Sounds like you have your hands full there. I understand about the trying to cut things out--doing that here. I'm searching for a job and that isn't fun. Have a good week!

We will be praying for you both. I find it difficult to make time to blog at times also.
Certainly hope the Dr's find the problem.
