Another Monday
The weekend went way too fast.
Dd and sil got in about midnight Friday night, left yesterday. We were so busy the whole time they were here but it was a good weekend.
Saturday we went to my mil's family reunion. It went as most family reunions go when you are an in-law. Plenty of good food, memories and pictures shared. Wondering who's who.
We came home and went to the Sourwood Festival in here town. It draws a big crowd into our little town. I enjoy going every yr but I came away a bit disappointed. Use to be just artists/crafters/food, now it's Sam's club, Southern Living home show thing, even saw a booth where they were selling sheet sets. What's with that? We have so many talented artists/craftsperson here in this area but it costs so much to rent a space they can't afford to do it. I did see some beautiful jewelry but was a bit more than I could pay, although I'm sure it was worth it.
Afterwards, dh, son and sil went fishing while dd and I went shopping!! I found a nice dress suit at Sears for less than $17!! Very pretty light blue color.
I was putting a roast in the crockpot about midnight to take to our homecoming yesterday. I was so tired. I had been up early that morning cooking for the reunion.
We had good singing, preaching and plenty of good food and fellowship at the homecoming.
No church last night so we had an evening of rest.
Today, I'll be busy in my home, getting it back into shape from the weekend.
I have a dentist appt, need to pay some bills, make a trip to Walmart, the Christian bookstore, maybe swing by Goodwill.
