They may have got it right this time.

taken at 4 pm

5 pm

I took more pictures but can't get them to download for some reason.
We ended up getting about an inch of snow. Would probly have been more but the wind was fierce last night! It has been a cold day, too.
I didnt' have to work today-I'm thankful for that. Dh went out to work this morning and said the roads were slick. I dont' think they did many deliveries.
I have a pot of navy beans going. Will add some sauted onions, celery, herbs, tomatoes and spinach to it for a nice hearty soup. And I have a pork roast I'll slice up and fry. I would have put it in the crockpot but didnt' get it thawed out in time. A pan of biscuits to go along with it (for dh and son). I would love to have some good crusty bread to eat with mine but trying to watch those carbs, still.

The snow fell fast here too, Patty! We had 2 inches in about an hour and a half.... I thought we were really in for it this time!!

Mmmmm I love navy beans... usually I just have them with cornbread, but it sounds like you're gonna dress yours up a bit! LOL

Your soup idea sounds delicious--it is cold enough for it here!

That kind of weather makes me want hearty bean soup too! Can you have complex carbohydrates? Whole grain bread would have been a nice addition to the soup.... mmmmm!
